Roman is the seventh book in the Cold Fury Hockey series by Sawyer Bennett. I'm a huge fan of the series, but this was one of my favorites to date. Roman was the gorgeous, hockey bad boy and shameless flirt. He was always getting into trouble on and off the ice. Lexi was the quirky, funny, sassy and beautiful new found daughter to the Cold Fury CEO. I was in love with both characters and they were perfect for each other. I enjoyed experiencing the evolution of their relationship and was all in on their bantering. I felt what they felt. Roman was told from a unique perspective with three POV's, Roman, Lexie and Brian. It was creative and unusual to have the father of the heroine as a POV. At first I didn't think I would like it, but once Georgia was thrown into the mix for Brian, I thoroughly enjoyed it. His POV became a secondary storyline that totally worked for me. The storyline was multi-faceted and enjoyable. The only draw back was the editing errors that were sprinkled throughout. Unfortunately there were too many to ignore. All in all, Roman was an easy read with low angst, and a journey of exploration, hope and new directions. It's totally going in my favorites bookshelf. We briefly met Luc in book six, Max, and he's now a new Cold Fury trade that we'll explore in the next book in the series, Lucas.
