Close the Tab (Devil's Due MC #3)

Close the Tab is the third book in the Devil's Due MC series by Chelsea Camaron. It was quick and read like a novella. The Devil's Due MC was created by a small group of men with troubled pasts that are looking to right wrongs that haven't been resolved through normal legal channels. They are nomads staying no one place for long but roam where the next lead takes them. Braden "Judge" Jones and Tamalyn Adams grew up in the same town, best friends then more. They grew up as next door neighbors, living in a hell, but they were there for each other and counted the days until they turned eighteen and took off on their own, leaving their families behind. Bladen vowed to protect her forever. Bladen was tough, mean and not to be messed with. Once Bladen met up with Tamalyn again, I fell in love with Bladen. He was soft, protective and exhibited a side to him that was only for Tamalyn. I immediately loved it. Camaron took us through the past and present to catch us up on the backstory. She then took us through the revenge, the two connecting again and battling the new challenges presented to them. Parts were predictable; yet other parts were surprising. It was fast and enjoyable; yet, I was desiring just a bit more depth and explanation. For my friends who seek safe books, this was in no way safe and includes both physical and sexual abuse, setting off potential triggers. True to form, the entire Devil's Due were front and center as supporting cast members. They were delightful and added humor. They also displayed loyalty and kinship. Through Trapper, Deacon and Rowdy, Camaron provided teasers for upcoming stories. We get to see Rowdy first in Day Of Reckoning.
